Daisuki Sushi
Cinematic sushi-and-Thai restaurant site with a full menu, online ordering, and live open-now status.
Daisuki Sushi is a demonstration build we designed and produced in-house to show our approach for this kind of business. The demo runs live, but it is not an operating business site: ordering, booking, and checkout flows are for show, and nothing placed through them is fulfilled.
Sushi is bought with the eyes, but most restaurant sites bury their best asset under widgets and PDF menus. The brief for this concept: build a site where the food photography does the selling, without sacrificing the practical jobs a restaurant site has to do every day.
We led with cinema: full-bleed photography, slow reveals, and a dark room that makes the food glow. Underneath the atmosphere sits a complete working restaurant site, with a structured menu spanning the sushi and Thai kitchens, an online ordering flow, and a live open-now indicator tied to service hours.
The demonstration proves appetite-first design and daily utility can share one site. The photography carries the brand, the menu system keeps both kitchens maintainable, and the ordering path stays two taps from anywhere on the page.
How We Built It.
Visual Direction
Visual Direction
Set the cinematic tone: dark surfaces, warm highlights, and photography treated as the hero of every section.
Menu Architecture
Menu Architecture
Structured the sushi and Thai menus into one navigable system with categories that mirror how the kitchen actually works.
Ordering & Status
Ordering & Status
Built the online ordering flow and the live open-now indicator so hours, menu, and availability always agree.
Motion & Deploy
Motion & Deploy
Layered in reveals and transitions that serve the photography, then deployed the demonstration to its live environment.
